About Dyna

           Dyna graduated from Ateneo de Manila
   University   (www.admu.edu.ph) in 1986 with a
   Bachelor's Degree in Commmunication.  She then
   embarked on a showbiz career as part of the cast of
   "The Sic O'Clock News", "Familia de Horror", "P.O.P.S.",
   "Tondominium" and was also an in-demand
   comedienne in popular TV sitcoms during that era.

            She was also an independent stage actress who
  did plays for different theater companies.  It was in
  theater where she learned how to externally create
  characters through the application of make-up.  Her love
  for transformations made her experiment on different looks
  on herself and on her fellow actors.  On the other hand,
  she wanted to learn how to tone down her theatrical   
  application by studying Artistic Makeup at Lasalle College  
  International (www.lasallecollege.com.ph) focusing on
  Basic Skincare and Makeup.  She has, since then, taken a
  new role - that of a Makeup Artist - enhancing the natural
  beauty in women, and men, for that matter, for personal
  and professional reasons.

           When not busy with makeup gigs (photo shoots, filming, live events), she tries to
  catch up with her theater mates and together, they create beautiful painterly
  photographic images.                     

          Health buff that she is, Dyna also has a certificate in Fitness and Nutrition.  She loves the beach and being a certified PADI diver, it is but natural that Coron, Palawan is her favorite summertime hangout.

          Dyna is married to television advertising Director/CinematographerTrevor Hone.

          Dyna is one person who continually hones her talents and believes that education is a never-ending process.  In 2007, she went to Australia to update her skills & know-how in make-up application.  She is the only Filipina who holds an International Certificate IV in Makeup from the Brisbane Academy of Makeup (www.makeuptraining.com.au). Eager to share her experiences and what she has learned, she currently teaches Traditional Make-up and Airbrush at the Manila campus of the Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty.

Dyna and her Dynafromanila Hair and Makeup Team are busy with projects requiring their expertise. Dyna also conducts tutorials, seminars and workshops to individuals and groups who are interested in acquiring or updating their make-up application skills. She believes that to achieve flawless physical beauty one has to follow her "make-up mantra" that consists of 3R's . . . RIGHT SKINCARE, RIGHT MAKE-UP, RIGHT APPLICATION.
